Doughnut Economics About DEAL News & Updates Meet the DEAL Team Careers FAQ Wider Movement Contact UsI have always worked in culture and during the last 10 years I have focused on environmental impact, climate change relating to our sector, cities and networks.
I convene the Manchester Arts Sustainability Team – MAST, an award-winning cross art form network of over 50 cultural organisations across Greater Manchester. Our network is dedicated to taking collective action to mitigate the climate and ecological crisis through enacting change and environmental responsibility across the entire cultural sector. I represent culture on the Manchester Climate Change Partnership – the board which oversees Manchester’s Climate Change Agency and city policy development. MAST has been recognised as an international good practice by the EU’s URBACT programme and we are currently working with Manchester City Council as lead partner of C-Change. Through this we are sharing this practice with five other European cities. https://urbact.eu/c-change
