I am a chartered account by qualification and a tax consultant by profession. I have been working for more than a decade now, and this one question of how to minimise the inequality gap in society has been pestering me. I came across the enlightening speech of Ms Kate Raworth on Ted talk and to me, it looks like a good place, to at least begin with!

I'm a German-US filmmaker working at the intersection of narrative and documentary with an emphasis on social impact storytelling. In 2019, I wrote and directed the drama short Cranberry Nights that explores a familiar coming-of-age struggle through the lens of an undocumented young woman. The feature version of the film is currently in development with writer Shirley Miller. Over the past 4 years, I produced and shot a wide range of commercial content campaigns for clients including Air Jordan, Nike, ESPN, and Netflix. In 2019 I also produced the documentary feature Ride for the Living, a film that chronicles the revival of Jewish culture, featuring prominent figures such as Steven Spielberg and Michael Berenbaum. I’m an avid traveler and adventurer, have lived in Germany, Australia, Iran, and the US, and filmed on locations around the world, including China, Tanzania, and Poland.

I am a Colombian, I started studying biology but never finished because I got caught by my passion for food and specially making it for others. I went to Peru to learn more of they cooking because that's what all latino cooks did 10 years ago. The biggest learning from that experience wasn't recipes or techniques but the respect and love of peruvian people for their culture, their ingredientes and their surroundings. From that point I have been looking for my place in the world and ways to represent my culture.

First of all: Thank you Kate! After years as creative director in branding, marketing and design, I felt it was time to take a stand and try to make a difference. Combining creativity with knowledge, expertise and passion, I started Owesome in 2019. Owesome builds sentient brands that dare to lead change, project by project, bit by bit. I love this planet and care for it. I feel the responsibility to act now for the future benefit of people, business and the planet. I believe that every effort to design out waste and keep products and materials in use is worth time and effort and it is my goal to assist companies to make that change. Why? Because we owe it to the planet and to future generations to wisely use the existing resources. My experience and expertise lies in B2B and B2C brand positioning, strategy and design in South East Asian and European markets.
