I am Sven and I love to build, improve and pioneer from scratch. Lot's of experience in: #innovation #communitycurrencies #impactrewards for consumers #sustainbility & consumer products-services #IT #agile #data #sustainable finance. I strongly believe that many solutions are already there, but they have not scaled yet, or are used with not the right rules. How might it be when we change te rules, make them as we go experiment, learn, fail and success (fast;). What thrives me is creating this better place for me and all people, animals and our homeplanet Earth. #banking - @Triodos a sustainable bank: IT, business customers, innovation. I learned that money is all about giving it direction towards what needs attention. And that money itself can be re-invented (community currencies) #Love: photography, cooking, building blocks (KAPLA), hiking, Theory U

Hi, I am ecologist originally from Brazil, where I have spent most of my career studying how climate affect (and will affect) plant biodiversity and ecosystem functions. I am particularly fascinated with tropical rainforests, as they represent the most species-rich biome in the world, play a vital role in stabilizing the global climate and are essential for the indigenous and native communities who depend on its natural resources for their survival.

My interest in Doughnut Economics began during my undergraduate studies, alongside a general interest in systems thinking. I studied Politics & Social and Economic Policy for my undergraduate degree and will be undertaking an MSc in Planetary Health beginning September 2025. I am a former member of the Scottish Youth Parliament, current member of the British Ecological Society and I previously participated in the Young Leaders Development Programme through the Scottish Government's Climate 50 scheme in 2021, aimed at bringing young climate leaders together and training them to become active climate advocates. I now work across Impact analysis and development on a restoration project in the Scottish highlands.

I am Doughnut Economics/ Engagement Lead at Climate Action Leeds, working for a 'zero carbon, nature friendly, socially just Leeds by the 2030s'. This is an ambitious, Lottery-funded project linking up local and city-wide communities to act, plan and build a movement of action and change. We are using Doughnut methodologies to help us do this in a range of ways. - We set up the Leeds Doughnut Coalition which has been meeting regularly for over 3 years - We carried out the first Leeds Doughnut City Portrait in 2022 with the University of Leeds providing a data baseline for the city: https://www.climateactionleeds.org.uk/leedsdoughnut - We have made 2 short illustrated films - the first is about the Leeds Doughnut here: - The second short film, 'The Clothes We Wear' is about clothing and fashion through a doughnut lens: https://www.climateactionleeds.org.uk/post/the-clothes-we-wear-cal-launches-fashion-film-at-major-leeds-event channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@climateactionleeds864 - Working with the Roundhay Environmental Action Project in a Leeds neighbourhood to develop a local doughnut selfie portrait.
