I am a transformational coach, author and speaker. I’m dedicated to empowering ambitious women and organisations who are making the world a better place. I am here because I am interested in how we can create wealth sustainably in a manner that is equitable and just. I would like to be in community with people who are curious about and taking action on economics that are just. I am fascinated by the way economics contributes to systems of oppression and the way this causes harm to women and how this harm is amplified for women of the global majority. I want to expand my work so I can do more to contribute to creating a more equitable society for women especially women of the global majority (and children) as it is my belief that this will support systemic change.

If we are to achieve our goal of greater respect for our environment and the people who make up our society, we need to take action at every level. This is the reason why I decided to help companies, local authorities and organisations commit to a CSR and transition approach. Today, I offer CSR modules, seminar days and tailor-made support to get all teams involved in a comprehensive, integrated approach. After listening to Kate Raworth at a Conference, I felt that the doughnut had to be shared with as many structures as possible.

I graduated from IADE (Visual Arts, Design, and Marketing Institute) with a degree in marketing and advertising, a post-graduate degree participation at ESHTE (Estoril Hotel and Tourism School) with a specialization in the implementation and development of tourism projects. With almost 20 years of experience in the tourism, hospitality, and leisure sectors, I have cultivated extensive expertise in market research, concept development, and marketing strategies tailored to projects at various developmental stages. One of my accomplishments includes the identification and formulation of business plans for the 10 strategic tourism products outlined in the Portuguese Strategic Tourism Plan (PENT). I had the privilege of collaborating with the esteemed ILM/THR team, under the leadership of Eulogio Bordas and Andrew Coutts. Additionally, I have contributed to family-oriented ventures like Casa Dalevada, as well as prominent developments such as Palácio Belmonte and Bairro Belmonte by DaST, Herdade da Comporta, Vale do Lobo, the Touristic Development Plan of Vila Real de Santo António, Lisbon Story Center, Santar Vila Jardim, World of Wine, Côa Park and Portugal dos Pequenitos, among others. My professional drive lies in embracing responsible cultural tourism placemaking projects, where I can leverage my expertise, knowledge, and passion for sustainable tourism development to contribute to their success and differentiation. In today's world, where concerns about sustainability and the future of our planet are paramount, I am deeply committed to integrating eco-friendly practices and promoting responsible tourism initiatives in my endeavours. By prioritizing environmental conservation, community engagement, and ethical business practices, I strive to ensure that our actions today positively impact both present and future generations. My approach is not only focused on achieving business objectives but also on creating meaningful and lasting benefits for the environment and society.

I'm searching for new opportunities in climate remediation. My climate arc started with postdoctoral work on biological treatments for groundwater contamination, moved through application as an environmental consultant, and then took me to synthetic biology to create biofuels and clean manufacturing processes that avert pollution in the first place. My technical training is in molecular biology and research science but perhaps more valuable skills are leadership, group motivation, creating an amazing team culture, ensuring clear and effective communication within an organization, and using excellent communication to help an organization present itself externally and get traction in the world. I am motivated when my work does good for people and good for the planet. Fluent in Spanish and English.
