Keith Melton
Nottinghamshire UK
Keith Melton is currently Chair of the Green Liberal Democrats (GLD) in the UK. GLD is a pressure group and `Think Tank` within the Liberal Democrats and it was established as the Party`s `Environmental Conscience` when the Party was established in 1988. At that time Keith was the Chair of the Liberal Ecology Group within the Liberal Party, one of the two parties that came together to form the Liberal Democrats. He became the Founding Chair of the new group and is happy to have recently been `recycled` as the newly elected Chair in 2020, more than 30 years later! In between time Keith established the Institute for Sustainable Development in Business at Nottingham Trent University as its Director and ran the Institute until he retired in 2006. Since retiring he has written and published an historical novel about an ancestor who led a rebellion against Henry Vlll in 1536. His ancestor was a shoemaker and the novel is called "Captain Cobbler: the Lincolnshire Uprising 1536".

Hi, I have had a long time interest in contributing to help make the world a better place. I believe that spreading the ideas that Kate has outlined as the principles of Doughnut Economics is the best way to do that. I look forward to the journey ahead with this emerging community which is set to create a network effect that will spread these ideas across our beautiful planet. Thank you to the founders and welcome to all! Cheers, Jason

I am passionate about expanding Systems Thinking far beyond Agile software development. My greatest enjoyment is constructive activism in the Environment and Education working with underserved students. As technological automation displaces traditional human work, there is a great need to evaluate and leverage technology to improve the human condition. As an evangelist of creating resilient systems, I have served both as a leader and individual contributor in multiple companies and industries. I am currently AVP of Emerging Technology and Tech Innovation for Pacific Life.

I am a father of three girls and a boy and have two grandchildren. I have been an educator much of my life and think that Doughnut Economics provides a useful framework in which to approach the two most pressing issues facing humanity: climate change and inequality. I regularly refer to doughnut economics with the business clients, principals and educators I mentor. My wife and I together run a successful home-hosted accommodation lodge in Taupō and are actively involved in the tourism industry.

I am the Founder and Executive Director of One Resilient Earth (www.oneresilientearth.org), a young international non-profit organization empowering people to grow their resilience to the climate and environmental crises through transdisciplinary projects that regenerate communities and ecosystems. So far, we have facilitated community dialogues on long-term resilience in Atlantic Canada; organized virtual poetry readings and film screenings on human connection to nature; have been holding climate workers circle on a weekly basis; and are supporting an innovative art-science lecture series with the University of Bonn. In addition, our Tero magazine aims to open up minds through art, futures literacy, and bold dialogues. When I am not working on this new project I love after years at the UN, I have fun in nature with my kids or spend time by the sea in France.

A passionate advocate for Love at Work in our lives, for human potential and global consciousness, I have a rich leadership and transformation ethos, absorbed and refined from my training, research and time spent with some of the world's top thinkers. For several years, I have conducted extensive research into the meaning of Love in organisations, exploring Love at work, and Love working. This comprehensive study includes over 70 leaders, hundreds of workers, students, coaches and other stakeholders in many different environments from prisons to universities, global corporations to politics and local charities. My research has revealed that whether the word 'Love' is acceptable terminology or not, it is undeniably present in successful workplaces with happy, engaged employees and supporters. In fact, it's a powerful presence in every aspect of our lives, and it is the readily available fuel that can fire transformation to a world where there is balance, happiness and fulfillment.
