A normal guy who was born in São Paulo state countryside, who has been a multidisciplinary leaner over the years and understands that life's sintropy is important to us all. The latest day to day project I've been contributing is Estante dos Comuns, a Commons Cupboard, where my family and I have been commoning while we distribuite compost made out of organic waste of our restaurant neighbour, giving it away in recycled containers through an upcycled cupboard hung in our house's wall. It is important to say that we hang the cupboard in the morning and go back to our working duties, leaving it alone and giving the walkers the autonomy to interact with it by themselves.

In my voluntary capacity as Director of ESSENCE, the Exeter Social Enterprise Network I am a keen advocate of the social enterprise business model and champion for the incredibly significant benefit being delivered by social entrepreneurs at all levels of society. Using my informatics and analytical skills I have developed tangible social value measures that qualify opportunity for £10’s of millions of social and economic benefits to be gained from collaborative, early intervention / prevention and community focused wellbeing development. I see endless opportunities for those Public Sector, Charitable and Voluntary Sector / Social Enterprises seeking ways to digitally develop and enhance the benefits of the services they provide and for start-ups bringing to market smart work / life digital innovations and wellbeing development solutions.

I’m an independent public interest practitioner in planning & housing development, advising central & local government, developers, community housing & land ownership groups. My advocacy of co-production & community ownership began in 1976, supporting a self-commissioned tenant management cooperative new build housing development for a London council, working with Tony Gibson, inventor of ‘Planning for Real’. In 2014/17, I visited the USA & Canada as a Churchill Fellow to examine different approaches to the co-production by the ‘state’ & citizens of housing & neighbourhood development, using community organising through Community Land Trusts (CLTs) to advocate for better housing & increased democratic participation in local decision-making. I write about all this at http://stephenhillfutureplanning.blogspot.com/. I’m an associate of the international Center for CLT Innovation https://cltweb.org/about/ We are keen to use its resources to help more communities democratise land ownership.

I've been tackling waste, environment and poverty for 17 years. Set up a Charity in South Wales operating 14k Sq Ft Warehouse and 3 Charity Shops. After seeing a better way to prevent waste, and engage all the community in a Circular Economy Model, we partnered with the Author of the Haynes Manuals for Electrical Repairs of Appliances. We rebranded the course that was used for 40+ years and 4000 Trainees, to a Verification, Certification and now in Draft, a Qualification for White Goods Repair. We won the Swansea Institute of Design, Environmental Improvement award in 2015 and we're about to launch our Soft-Launch Phase 1 SaaS Platform, in the form of an Appliance Safety Register, that introduces communities into a Community run model that tackles Poverty, Environment, Green Skills and many other Apps, solely for the Community where you live so that we can also donate real money to people in need, create more local Repair Jobs in a Cloud Based, Company Limited by Guarantee Model. Defra have given us a letter of Support and discussed options with us, on how we can work together, delivering metrics that will help form UK Policy to safeguard and deliver vital data to ensure the UK has the resources it needs. We're cloud based now and looking for citizens to Register their Appliances with us, so we can ensure safer homes, and create Professional Community Repairers where they live, to tackle much of Societies Challenges. It will be a full Circular Economy Model for your Community and we can see the potential for over 400+ LocalitEEE's, in the Uk, deliver what your community wants. Engagement by UK Stakeholders and Citizens will mean this doesn't need funding, and eventually we want these owned by each community in the UK. If you want to engage with us, drop us a line an Register Your Interest in this short Form. https://zfrmz.com/Utz2aUvVp3PTCreJbA6o Through Citizen Engagement we can all deliver a Common Set of Tools belonging to our Community and we will be donating annual amounts to people in need, in your community that could with 60% engagement deliver £90k annually. Director of Wild Rumpus a community interest company working at the intersection of arts and nature. We produce large scale festivals and events, often camping, always with a connection to nature and environment, taking audiences outdoors to change the way they look at and imagine the world. We believe that arts and culture have a unique role to play in helping people to gain new perspectives on the existential threat posed to civilisation by the loss of biodiversity on a level never witnessed before.

We work with people who have half an idea, or maybe a whole one, and who don’t really consider themselves business material. We don’t work with the usual suspects. We go to where the businesses are, so we’re a little bit nomadic.
