As the Founder of iðun and with a 14-year tenure in homelessness prevention and social housing, my journey has been driven by a deep commitment to social good and innovation. From managing homeless shelters to strategic roles with community groups and sitting on boards of national charities, I've witnessed the challenges non-profits face in fundraising and the eagerness of businesses to engage in meaningful CSR and ESG efforts. This experience sparked the vision for iðun: a platform democratizing access to powerful tools for social good, enabling organizations of all sizes to launch health, well-being, and environmental challenges. Our flagship global event, One Million Steps, embodies our mission to integrate movement with mindfulness, offering a comprehensive toolkit for life's journey. Our achievements include prestigious awards and incubator participations, testament to our impact: over £140,000 raised by 850+ fundraisers and more than one billion steps walked by 1750+ participants. At iðun, we're not just building a platform; we're fostering a community where every step contributes to a larger cause. Join us in our mission to tackle the pressing issues of our time through movement, well-being, and unparalleled community engagement. Where will your Million Steps take you?

As managing director of the hilbra GmbH I have developed a management system that shows the economic, social and ecological costs of our products and also how we can compensate them. A short overview you find in the following research report: https://www.tib.eu/de/suchen/id/TIBKAT:1837328382/Easy-EPD-Teilvorhaben-3-Anforderungsprofil-%C3%96kobilanzierung?cHash=3417d6ddc591995c9cae5bd974ab5e5b With our sustaincoin we make these results visible. The sustaincoin is also a communication tool in our sustaiability reports: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/319467762_Der_SustainCoin_als_Nachhaltigkeitslabel https://www.hilbra.de/images/Nachhaltigkeitsberichte/aktualisiert/Nachhaltigkeitsbericht_23.pdf With my senseholder concept I am looking for a new opportunity that slowly the homo eoconomicus, or known as rational man, can leave the scene. In addition I am an university lecturer. In this function, with the structural engineer students, I figure out how to calculate more sustainable building details. The managementsystem I developed in business I also can use as education tool. The concept of a "Down to Earth Economy" I have developed is a monetary system. Knowing that not everything can be expressed by money I see an enormes potential in the doughnut economic view.

I am a keen gardener with a lifelong love of Nature. Recently awareness of the inadequacies of growth economies, globalisation, rampant consumerism and the First Past the Post system have led me to an interest in localisation, improved democracy and of course, doughnut economics.

Following successful years as an educator, a community-based entrepreneur, social enterprise developer, investor, and business and organization leader, during which I also provided support to our emerging regional eco-system to encourage startups, I am now a Senior Lecturer in Economics and Entrepreneurship. I teach business economics and entrepreneurship, co-direct our Fimbel Innovation Lab, coordinate our entrepreneurship programming (curricular and co-curricular), and serve on the academic program committee of Entrepreneurship, Organizations, and Society (EOS). EOS establishes the social and environmental context for entrepreneurial action; our entire approach since 2016 has been to ensure that entrepreneurial action and all aspects of business are directly tied to social and environmental issues and impacts.

Hi, I am an Engineer working as a Technology Specialist in large multi-national company. I have read Doughnut Economics book and inspired by Kate Raworth economic story. It's truly inspiring, and it's not that scary what I thought about economics. I am eager to pull the ideas from the page and implement in my organization, at home and everywhere. Thank you, Veer

We are a family (Athena Lamberis (Lampiri) & Christopher D.Z. Mason based in Arkadia, Greece within a chestnut, pine & oak forest and acting as stewards on land we are regenerating - applying food forest and permacultural practices as an educational farm and area to further the education of ecology and our human-nature connection in innovative and creative ways. My husband, Chris and I come from educational, film and creative writing backgrounds with experience in living on the fringe of wild spaces, such as the ocean coastal river mouths in Nicaragua, the Cape Point peninsula of South Africa and now in the ancestral land of my grandmother's village, Alepochori, Arkadia. We want to be a part of a network that considers social and environmental interconnectivity for a more thriving and inspiring future for generations to come. We have a 5 year old daughter and want to help foster a community of young people who understand their actions and the impacts it has on a larger scale for living plants, creatures and natural resources on the planet.

I am an student of 3th semester of PhD. on economics at the Economic Research Institute of National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). My research is about biophisical limits of mexican economy, but I have a strong interest to develop a doughnut economic model for Mexican economy. I would really love to receive guidance in this regard. I had worked on climate change since 2007, mostly on GHG mitigation actions and GHG inventories using GHG protocol and IPCC guidelines. I worked for 8 yearsat the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC), I and I was part of the team that developed the Fourth and Fifth National Communications, and First BUR for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). But it was right after this job that I realized I had to know economics, and I did a master's degree in economics at the same institute. I believe that economics has led humanity in actions and thought, and if you want to make a proposal, it should go in that direction. I am also taking the second module of Common earth and I can contribute to this network everything I know about ecological footprints, carbon footprints, emissions inventories and systems thinking, as well as what will result from my research.
