How do we come to a society in which we do right to each and everyone's basic needs, and at the same time respect the boundaries of our planet? This question activates and inspires me in both my working life as well as in my free time. As an organisational advisor at the Vrijwilligers Centrale Amsterdam (Centre for Volunteering Amsterdam) I advise civil society organisations and initiatives so they can (continue to) work with pleasure and enthousiasm on making a positive social and/or ecological impact. In my free time I facilitate Climate Fresk workshops on climate change, based on the IPCC reports. During this workshop participants gain insight into the causes and effects of climate change, and together discuss what it means for them personally.
