I am recently retired after a career in the UK public and voluntary sectors. I am inspired by the concept of Doughnut Economics and I would like to help make it a reality, at local, national or international level. I offer my time and a basic understanding of conventional economics.

I believe that endless growth on a finite planet is impossible; but I am also aware that our entire way of life is based on just that. I'm keen to find a way to bring those two thoughts together as soon as possible.

I have been learning about and teaching 'sustainability' for a while. Currently, I am exploring social enterprise and social innovation. Good to see Kate Raworth's Doughnut developed into this very useful tool.

Exploring what is mine to do as an sage-ing elder. Interested in a broad systemic view of things, addressing causes rather than symptoms. Trained as an end-of-life doula during covid; practicing compassionate communication; convening conversations around "awkward" topics such as Exploring What's Life Affirming around Death and Dying. Wanting to invite conversations around earth etiquette and Doughnut Economics is the most wholistic program we've seen. Hoping there are resources to support these exploratory conversations.
