I work for consultant company Chodai in Tokyo, Japan. I am currently in charge of water treatment technology utilizing microorganisms and it can be the core technology to create true circular econnomy. I am very much interested in the concept of Donuts economy and our technology, EMBC(Effective Microorganisms Brewing Cycle) can contribute to achieve humanity to keep balance, staying inside the donuts.

A self-described climate educator, my ambition and passion is to help create a vision of what is possible in a re-imagined world. In that world we respect the planet that sustains us, while being unashamed of the impact we have on that world. To frame, give a starting point and direction to a rapidly evolving vision requires well-considered understandable, actionable tools. In my opinion Kate Raworth's DEAL Doughnut, Ellen Macarthur's circular economy butterfly and the UN's SDG's work wonderfully together. We need to start somewhere. Yesterday. So here we are then. The learning curve is steep. Changes will come, inevitably. Change is learning, learning is success. P.S. I'm especially excited about the education package coming soon!

Hi everyone! In a nutshell, I am a writer, Communications and Sustainability consultant. With a varied background from international law to publishing and advertising, I sit at the intersection of Creativity and Sustainability and operate across varied sectors and countries, at all levels, to accelerate the just transition through education and effective communication. Most of my work - included as a CISL assessor - is rooted in helping to create, and reckon with, the profound mindset shift, personal transformation and wider cultural change required to create meaningful, long lasting positive change. Native French, deeply European at heart, bilingual French-English.

Hello, I'm Susan, a designer based in London. Embracing the principles of Doughnut Economics, I'm passionate about fostering a community where we learn and share. Inspired by yoga and a deep respect for our Earth, I humbly seek to apply these principles in my business and encourage the next generation to do the same. I would like to explore the balanced intersection of prosperity, sustainability, and community well-being.

I learnt about the DEAL community through a Futurelearn course on sustainability. It's a desire to see things set right or at least educate young people how to partake in actionable items to bring about change in their lives.

Forester by education. Green by heart. Old: Heard of the Rom Club before Brundtland report. Haven´t known what to do about it, but to work in the small circles that I am part of. Fond of and admiring Stockholm Resilience Center, actually tried to attend a cource there once. # klimate
