After years of working in the social sector and social investment in the UK, I am using my background in anthropology to do research on climate imaginaries and behaviours in Berlin. Just like so many people, I want to (very modestly) contribute to understanding how we can transition to a sustainable system centred on solidarity. He has over 28 years of experience in project planning, implementation, construction, maintenance and operation of urban infrastructures, facilities, roads, culverts, WFP funded warehouse, mule tracks for WFP school feeding programmes etc. He has over 15years’ experience in contract management (project planning and management) and arbitration related laws. He also has over 5 years of experience working in UN Missions in South Sudan, DRC, Liberia and 11 months experience with WFP in Lebanon.    His areas of core competencies are construction supervision of engineering infrastructures, operation & maintenance of infrastructures and refurbishment activities. He has implemented several projects funded by the FAO/UNCDF, WFP and Food Corporation of Bhutan. He has also completed new CSB and RSB camp for UN peacekeepers for over 800 personnel in Khartoum, Malakal, Kagudli, Juba and Rumbek in Sudan and South Sudan. During the Covid -19 emergency he served as a volunteer in completing, installation and designing of Zincalume 100m3 water tank together with construction of 500 bedded quarantine facility for emergency Covid – 19 facilities and water supply system. Presently he is working as a Project Manager, SoH in Monrovia, Liberia supporting the renovation of 8 TVET schools including installation and training of solar power system for the unemployed youth affected by war.

Trabalhei na coordenação de projetos, fora e dentro de Bélgica, e sou  apaixonado por as possibilidades regenerativas que o entendimento sistemático da ecologia possa nos oferecer as vários problemas que a sociedade atualmente tem.  Meu interesse está na aplicação dos princípios da agricultura sintrópica e da permacultura, especialmente nas soluções que as sistemas agroflorestais oferecem.  No final do ano passado, em outubro, cheguei em Belo Horizonte pra pesquisar as possibilidades de começar um sistema agroflorestal no sítio da roça do meu Mestre da Capoeira. I work as a Unitarian Minister and an environmental consultant.  I have a Masters Degree from Tufts University (UEP) in Energy and Climate Policy and have been influenced by thinkers such as Wendell Berry, Thomas Berry, Herman Daly,  John Cobb, Jr., and Marjorie Kelly to name but a few.   I have worked for several different engineering firms conducting renewable energy studies for wind and solar projects.
