I am a retired head of adult education and now spend most of my time working on environmental projects. I was a founding director of Talking Tree, www.talkingtree.org.uk, the second climate emergency centre set up in the u.k. The aim was to create a community venue where we could develop practical initiatives to address the climate emergency. We work with local authorities, universities and other community organisations to support the transition to carbon neutral and improved biodiversity. I am now working on a project to establish a number of sustainable village communities across England.

I am in the development space. I have been working with communitites for over 10 years. I am currently working for Taking Care of Business( formerly known as The Clothing Bank) TCB. We empower unemployed mothers to run informal trade businesses to eradicate poverty in their lives. We receive donations of clothing from 11 top retialers in South Africa which would otherwiese go into landfills. There are 5 branches nationally. I am the branch manager of the Paarl branch ( Cape Winelands). The Enterprise Development particiapants are given access to stock at low cost, making their business learning practical. They receive business mentoring , are trained on business skills, life skills and receive life coaching over 2 year. The programm is successful in cleaning up waste, whilst empowering humans to be better versions of themselves. Previous to his I was manager of community health care workers in an organisation called Philani. With 250+ community helath care workers , nurses, social auxiliary workers and a nework of social workers: we educated pregnent woman and mothers on how to best care for thier health, for their babies and children to the age of 5. In partnership with social workers we sometimes had to facilitate the removal of children from negligent parents. With the help of the Department of Health we were able to give milk and suppliments to malnaourished children. This is all in the effort to prevent stunting and all lifeling problems caused by malnutrition during infancy and childhood.

Hello! I’m Jude, and I definitely like to take sad songs and make them better. I dedicate myself to cultural transformation driven specifically by data analytics, business ethics, leadership and governance. “Dismantling Diversity Management: Introducing and Ethical Performance Improvement Campaign”, is a book I wrote, published by Routledge, that tells the story of the work that powers my company Abundant Sun. My main reason for working is to enable companies, mainly small to medium enterprises, to live their key corporate values truly. I love living, working and moving through a variety of cultures, all the time weaving people, places and experiences together. Originally from the USA, I have for decades lived and worked internationally across Europe, and the Americas, and currently divide my time between the UK, Europe and the US. By nature, I am playful and creative. I also have a very low boredom threshold, which makes me extremely good at multi-tasking. I enjoy being executive producer of digital media projects, and designing dynamic learning events aimed at finding human-centric solutions to issues of justice and business ethics. As an Adjunct Professor I have designed and taught courses at undergraduate level in Cross-Cultural Psychology in my home state of New Jersey, and at an MBA level in Data Analytics, Decision-making and Performance Management in Vermont, my newly adopted home state. In Vermont, appointed by Governor Phil Scott, I served on the VT COVID-19 Economic Mitigation and Recovery Taskforce. This taskforce is charged with providing technical assistance and expertise to mitigate the devastating short-term economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with developing strategies designed to speed long-term business and community recovery. I hold a BA in Psychology and a PhD in Business, and I love each discipline with equal measure. I am the author of many articles, and was a regular commentator on Vermont Public Radio delivering a number of powerful and insightful commentaries on contemporary issues.

I am a Computer Scientist, although I have no letters after my name. And a Software Engineer working in the field of computer language design and research who had his life turned over in the mid 90's by Sir David Attenborough's BBC TV Documentaries. I became interested in environmentalism and also became vegan as a result. I am working towards a creating social collaboration system (using extensions of W3C standards) for scientists, artists, computer programmers, and activists. I am also interested in setting up zero to low cost distributed communications systems to support this and other means of communication. Basically I watched Rachel Donald's Planet Critical interview with Brian Czech's, and then realized Doughnut Economics was a compatible model to Brians and that was the new way to go shortly followed by Kates interview Rachel and there was hope yet for humanity.
