When I discovered the paradigm of sustainable development, I saw it as a viable alternative to our current capital markets mindset as taught in university economic departments.  Ever since I have enjoyed expressing my gifts across a range of themes: * personal development psychology * sustainable wealth management * regenerative economic development * green economy * business innovation This has made me a student of the history of the philosophy of finance. Now my focus is to integrate best practices for a regenerative economy, from ideas into collective action. To create an economy of mutual blessings. I serve a range of clients who are investors, leaders and projects which create better thinking, tools and systems for humanity.  I am most intrigued by people and projects to evolve financial markets, social equity and economic systems to create shared prosperity and thriving for all people and all life. And groups who recognize the context of life on this planet who see we are not part of the world, yet see the World as all the parts of us. Since my college days my roles and relationships have expanded with a growing circle of friends and clients who express their vision for a better world. My intensely curious mind led me to study various schools of thought from economics to computer science, biology to meditation and wisdom traditions, and a deep curiosity about existential philosophies of the nature of consciousness. Then I built my expertise while working with several large and small investment banks, financial institutions and think tanks.  I am beyond grateful to the women and men who are my mentors, whose insights and gifts inspire me every day. Today I and my circle of friends weave across the world to serve and evolve humanity through a range of circles, groups, think tanks, investment networks, families, social enterprises, indigenous, regenerative agriculture, social innovation, feminine leadership , etc , through our activities toward implementing the most advanced practices to achieve the sustainable development goals. I might be considered an old lag by some (67 years old), but for probably the first time in my life I'm on an adventure that I actually feel passionate about - to understand regenerative capitalism, and eventually to add my voice to the growing throng, and in a small way, play my part.

Born in north England in 1950, migrated to Australia in 1972 and enjoyed the carefree days of the Permaculture movement. Studied history, and architecture at University, then obtained a builders license and had a 30 year career in the construction industry, including "alternative" construction, mud brick, pole frame. In 1992 I shed tears as Severin Suzuki explained the plight of the world and since then climate change has occupied my life in many ways. I read Tim Jackson´s Prosperity Without Growth in 2009, the same year as the "last chance" Copenhagen COP collapsed.  In 2011 I moved to Barcelona, arriving the day before 15M, and I became enchanted with the city and its people, and yet the official COP process produced only fairly tales of impossible promises "Decoupling", "Carbon offsets" "technological efficiencies" and the blatant fraud of Biomass accounting. I am extremely grateful to the ICTA pioneers, (GK, JH), and of course KR for bringing the doughnut to Barcelona, and am looking forward to seeing Tim Jackson soon. ALSO, BIG UP´s to ALL for the Beyond Growth forum at the E.U. I thought I would never see such an event !!!
