Hello! I'm the founder of the Travel Local Collective and SHIFT I'm a seasoned and expert who has worked with some of the best tourism marketing and organizations in the world. Closest to my heart, I'm also co-founder of Indigenous Worx, a proud ally of and communities around the world who are rebuilding their economies and community well-being based on their own values and practices. As a political economics graduate and MBA, my values have always drawn me to ideas, philosophies and innovations that make the world more just, fair, safe and healthy. Doughnut Economics and its ideas resonate deeply with me, and I believe it is an essential framework for the post-vaccine era and beyond. The world of travel needs reinvention. Now more than ever, travellers are looking for greater emotional benefits from the destinations and experiences they do business with. They want to know that you value the same things they do. These local explorers care deeply about Indigenous cultures, go to greater lengths to minimize their environmental footprint, proudly support local artisans and growers, and fiercely defend what made a community worth visiting in the first place. We're here to help you show them you believe what they believe. Travel Local is our response to the call. We're a new collective of experts passionately dedicated to . We offer strategy, marketing, destination development and operations support designed for a smaller world , because today's best customer wants travel to transform and regenerate, not just recover.

The Earth is dying and we need to develop a hybrid approach towards governance since capitalism without sustainable regulations is crime. I am interested in helping DEAL develop a democratic approach to make people choose their TAX Directions which is itself a novel idea. Tax as we know is a scalar quantity based on only the amount; I propose to develop a vector quantity with the taxpayer's inner wish as the direction. This would help channel funds into solving taxpayer's problems instead of the government developing completely separate investment domains with which the public is majorly disconnected. This would help in the government spending more valuable time in researching new strategic solution to our fundamental existence in this universe as well as understanding and eliminating the threats to our existence.

I'm a software developer committed to Free Software (have been for a very long time). Currently involved in the creation of an online service to help other Free Software developers regain control of their tools. It is supported by a horizontal collective designed with a post-growth mindset. It is still quite rare in software startups as most of them are trying to mimic the ever expanding model of giant corporations and I'm hoping to find like minded people. P.S. I actively boycott Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. because they are controled by corporate giants.

I'm a Puerto Rican researcher at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in Estonia, pursuing a PhD in Digitalization and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems. My research explores how digitalization impacts the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems. Specifically, I'm interested in how digital tools can be leveraged across borders to enhance accessibility of entrepreneurial resources and assist in the transition towards more economies. Before entering I gained experience in local and international public accounting firms, specializing in financial advisory and business risk services. I worked with clients across diverse industries in Puerto Rico, the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean, leading projects in financial modeling, internal audit, M&A due diligence, and business process reviews. Following the devastation of hurricanes Irma and Maria in my homeland of Puerto Rico, I transitioned to the non-profit sector. Here, I conducted on disaster recovery and led the design and evaluation of business support programs for nascent entrepreneurs in underserved communities. My passion for combining business expertise with led me to found Labfields where I leverage my past experiences to design accessible tools and services that empower small businesses to adapt to the challenges posed by climate change.

I am a linguist and trained language teacher (French, EFL and Spanish) whose passion is explore how we can empower ALL in our education system to flourish and become curious lifelong learners. The main question that drives all my inquiries is: how do we change the way we educate and parent our young people and children so that they don't have to unlearn and re-learn a new approach to life when they reach adulthood? What would happen if we empowered our children and young people to grow and develop, to ensure that they get their most basic human needs (for physiological and survival, healthy relationships and sense of belonging and connectedness) so that they can truly let go of their fears and find meaning and purpose in their lives and be of service to others and the planet? As Kate asks in her book - how do we achieve human prosperity in a flourishing web of life?

Hi I am the CEO of a charity in Edinburgh. We support people who are #homeless and to raise money we run a #socialenterprise where we collect and sell #reuse #furniture. I am interested in DEAL and applying its principles as a theory of change for a project I am currently working on. It is not city level but organisational level and I am interested in talking to other people who have used the principles of DE but operating at a much smaller level.
