To support international cooperation projects and advocate for public authorities to provide official development assistance.
The Fédération vaudoise de coopération (Fedevaco) is an umbrella organization representing 51 NGOs based in the Canton of Vaud (french speaking part of Switzerland). Its mission is to :
- Promote development in Global South countries based on justice, solidarity, human dignity, and respect for the environment;
- Bring together, at the cantonal level, organizations working in international cooperation;
- Increase official development assistance;
- Promote the quality of its member organizations’ projects funded by public authorities;
Inform elected officials and the population of Canton de Vaud about the issues surrounding international cooperation, and advocate for this field.
