This is the landing page for the Universal Recognition (UR) movement on DEAL's global communities. UR is an accessibility positive movement with a growing global community.

On a mission to bring us all together so we can better create futures fit for us all!


UR will be a helpful community to join if you are:

- An organisation, service-provider or top-level decision maker who wants to develop strategies that improves the lives of people currently experiencing hardship and general participation in your sustainability initiatives.

- A marginalised creative, advocate or community organiser who wants better access to opportunities and a platform from which to create change.

- Interested in actively creating practical, accessible and achievable pathways towards fairer and safer futures for people and planet.

You can join UR 's movement if you wish to:

✨ Connect with fellow members of the Disabled and marginalised communities leading the movement

✨ Develop better accessibility and participation strategies within your organisation with the professional guidance of Disabled experts and advisors

✨ Better understand how accessibility enables fairer and more just economic participation that is safer for people and the planet

The movement was founded in Glasgow Scotland and we now have growing number international partners and allies. If you are interested in connecting or setting up your own UR network let us know!
