I work with complex systems, wicked challenges and uncertainties. This is mostly connected to regional development, where I identify connections between industries, sectors, organisations and people. I do all this to understand how things work in our societies and explore ways to initiate exchange and collaboration between diverse actors. I helped out in different sustainable development projects around Europe (Sweden, France, Switzerland and Luxembourg). Expeditie 02050 helps the province of Limburg on its way to a sustainable model of existence in which people, animals and nature flourish. I encourage SMEs and other organizations in Limburg to integrate sustainability into their business strategy/design. Together we determine the sustainable direction, realization and rules of the game. Very practical, accessible, step by step and with lots of positive impact. The Doughnut Design for Business is a wonderful tool to facilitate this. I cannot wait to bring it into practice and share my experiences with you.
