When the Doughnut diagram was first published back in 2012, people quickly started experimenting with ways to take it off the page and put it into practice. That is what inspired us to set up Doughnut Economics Action Lab, to connect with these changemakers and many more, and learn how best to help these ideas spread and scale at the speed that these times demand.

In this TEDx Talk, recorded at TEDx Bath in November 2021, Kate Raworth explores many of DEAL's key principles and values - from embracing the power of play to unleashing the power of peer-to-peer inspiration. The talk is a celebration of the community groups, teachers, architects and designers, local councils, and artists worldwide who are bringing the ideas to life and putting them into practice in their own locality.
