CalDEC launches in-depth CA Doughnut Report
Official launch of updated 2025 California Snapshot plus in-depth Report
CalDEC news: We're excited to officially launch our updated California Doughnut Economics Snapshot and new in-depth Report! 🍩
Free downloads here.
Our updated California Doughnut Economics Snapshot is a place-based, visual assessment of how well California meets people’s social needs while staying within ecological limits, highlighting where our state is thriving, falling short, or in overshoot. A year after our prior snapshot, this one contains lots of fresh data! 🌟
The additional new Report provides rich depth:
🥽 Deep-dive background on each ecological and social indicator
⚖️ Expanded justice considerations
✔️ Highlights of positive state policy
We also have a video introducing our updated snapshot and report here, and a snapshot and report walk-through video here.
