The Doughnut Economics Greece Network presented in September 2023 at the 8th Conference of the "Hellenic Adult Education Association" the “City Portrait” tool from the Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL).

It was an online interactive workshop to present a collaborative capacity-building tool, which is based on the Doughnut Economics framework. The tool, “The City Portrait” workshop aimed to improve the environmental literacy of citizens by reimagining and reshaping the individual and collective beliefs regarding a new “green” project at the Athens city center.

The workshop's objective was to highlight the “City Portrait” tool that, in the hands of adult educators, can be leveraged to offer a starting point for environmental literacy in local communities nationwide, just as they are currently being utilised globally.
