This is the second of two sessions (to allow people to join from different time zones).
You can view the other session here.
Community initiatives are a driving force for positive change in society. These pioneers show us what a world 'in the Donut' could look like, and how it can be organised in a resilient way.
Inspired by the launch of Amsterdam Donut Coalition's report on community resilience, THE DONUT ECONOMY IN PRACTICE: LESSONS FROM PIONEERS IN AMSTERDAM NEIGHBOURHOODS, we're opening a peer-learning space to go deeper into Doughnut Economics Deep Design approach that sits behind it (that looks into an initiative's Purpose, Relationships, Governance, Ownership and Finance) and to share the key insights and lessons from all of our work.
Join this session if you are a community organiser, policy maker, local entrepreneur, or researcher interested to...
... learn how you can apply Deep Design to strengthen your own initiative
... get involved in the initiatives in your own neighborhood
... connect to a global network of pioneers working on resilient communities
... share your own learnings about community building
... join an international community of practice of community builders
During this event we will:
- Discuss the Deep Design framework and how it translates to community organising
- Hear each of our insights and learnings on community resilience from your local community work
If you have any access needs to be able to join, please email Rob at rob@doughnuteconomics.org.
