Join us alongside the UAL Climate Emergency Network at Central Saint Martins to explore the value of Doughnut Economics

Join us on campus for a two part workshop to explore the concepts of Doughnut Economics and how it can help reshape education and the creative industries to enable us to thrive in the safe space between planetary boundaries and an equitable social foundation.


14:00 - 15:30  Part 1: What on Earth do doughnuts have to do with economics?
Join other creatives for a fun and engaging session exploring the concept of Doughnut Economics and how it applies to our lives.

15:30 - 17:00 Part Two : Doughnut in the Studio & on a Plinth: creative education as a coop?
This workshop invites artists, educators, and cooperative thinkers to gather for an interactive workshop that examines how Doughnut Economics might help reshape education and the cultural sector by employing more collaborative and cooperative frameworks. Together we will: - see how Doughnut Economics principles align with cooperative values - explore wow these principles might be applied to both the culture and education sectors - dive into practical applications at various levels—from individual studios and classrooms to larger institutions like unions, community organisations and even universities. Led by David Cross and the UAL Climate Emergency Network
