Earth Day Earth Lens Mindfulness (6pm- 40 mins) (Past)

Gather together on Earth Day to focus on Peace & Our Collective Wellbeing as Planet & People now

Please Note: This event has now finished and can no longer be joined.

An Earth Lens illuminates Doughnut Economics (DE) in meaningful & relevant ways for Our Collective Wellbeing as Planet & People now.

WHO call this One HealthThe United Nations have developed Sustainable & Inner Development Goals to help focus on regenerative living within the healthy boundaries of Biodiversity of our Living Planet. Nurturing the wellbeing of ALL life on Earth!

DE makes it clear to see that Climate & Social justice are interconnected.  We can't have one without the other.   I call this an Earth Lens because it’s clear that We Are Nature too!

I'm holding space online for 40 minutes at 8am & again at 6pm for likeminded people to gather together to cocreate 'small islands of coherence' a perspective shared by Otto Scharmer @https://www.presencing.org/ that

"Small Islands of Coherence in a sea of chaos can shift the whole system to a higher order. Barbara Marx Hubbard.

Enjoy 10-15 minutes of Earth Mindfulness weaving Nature Connection from the University of Derby 5 pathways with the Ancient Earth Wisdom of Wayapa™ Wuurrk (Earth Connection) from our traditional knowledge holders in an Internationally Accredited Indigenous Wellbeing modality from Australia now here in the UK.

The session will respectfully include a traditional acknowledgement & if there's time poetry.  Debbie will stay for 10-15 minutes 'After Glow' for anyone who'd like to pause a little longer on the day.

This event is free & no data will be collected.  If you can make a donation to The World Land Trust please visit https://www.justgiving.com/page/debbie-mace-1?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=EM&utm_campaign=lc_frp_share_transaction_fundraiser_page_launched

You are Welcome to join without donating, your presence will be appreciated in cocreating our 'Island of Coherence.'

We're all Earth people, living the best we can within the existing systems.  When we know many of these systems are harming our Earth it can feel heavy & hopeless.  That's why it’s so important for us to support each other & find ways to Be the Change, individually & collectively to focus on Our Sacred Shared Mother Earth & Our Collective Wellbeing as Planet & People.

Collective Wellbeing is rooted in Generational Wellness.  This is the guiding philosophy that ALL our Human Occupations are regenerative & consider the potential impact they could have for future generations, at least seven generations from now.  That's long-term thinking with purpose & it's the foundational core of DE.

For me Collective Wellbeing says intuitively what DE says theoretically that

"We can't be well if our Mother Earth is sick."  Jamie Marloo Thomas (Wayapa Wuurrk).

Wayapa has kept me well through some challenging times but more than this it has given me an Earth Lens to deeply appreciate the abundance of Natural gifts I receive every day of my life, from Nature & that I’m Nature too.  The air we breathe, the water & food that nourish us, we are a part of our Living Biosphere we are not apart from it.

As an Occupational Therapist for over twenty-five years, I understand the importance of human occupations for our health & wellbeing as people.

Now I'm grateful for my Earth Lens that enables me to relate this with our Collective Wellbeing as Planet & People & DE.

Appreciating my 'right place' as a custodian of our Earth & intending to be the best Ancestor I can be for generations to come.

"We're all on our individual journey to reach our Collective Wellbeing."  Sara Jones

Join me on Earth Day & let’s be United to cocreate 'Small Islands of Coherence' for Our Collective Wellbeing together.
