11월 2일(토), 파주시 봉일천 전통시장에서 오전 11시부터 오후 7시까지 열리며, 무료로 참여 할 수 있습니다.
파주 봉일천 재래시장에서 오랫동안 마을에서 삶을 영위한 지역 상점 주인들과 가게 이야기, 도넛경제와
상점 테마에 따른 도서와 자료 전시회가 운영됩니다. 각 상점에도 서가가 조성되고, 시장의 빈 가게에 메인
전시장이 설치됩니다. 또한 지역 주민의 공연과 함께 도넛의 가치가 공유됩니다.
이번 글로벌 도넛데이 컬렉션 버스킹은 봉일천 재래시장과 파주시 일대, 경기도에 홍보 됩니다.
봉일천 시장은 5일마다 열리는 지역 장터로 오랫동안 마을 전통시장의 역할을 해왔습니다. 하지만 대규모
주택단지가 들어서고 빠르게 도시화 되면서 봉일천 시장은 쇠퇴하고 있습니다.
이번 컬렉션 버스킹은 재래시장의 상인들과 새로 유입된 도시민들을 연결하게 될 것입니다. 마을의 관계를
연결하고 지역 순환경제를 회복하여 도넛의 안쪽 고리 사회적 기초를 다지는 첫 발걸음이 될 것 입니다.

Collection Busking Event Announcement - In Partnership with the Paju Bongilcheon
Traditional Market Merchants’ Association
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Collection Busking event on November
2nd (Saturday) at the Paju Bongilcheon Traditional Market! The event is free and will
run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Join us for a day filled with storytelling and community connection. Local shop owners
who have long sustained their livelihoods at the Bongilcheon traditional market will
share their experiences, and a special exhibition will be held showcasing books and materials themed around Doughnut Economics. Each shop will have its own bookshelf,
and one of the market shops will host the main exhibition. In addition, local residents
will share performances, bringing the values of the Doughnut to life.
This event aims to promote the Bongilcheon Traditional Market across Paju and the Gyeonggi Province area, highlighting its cultural and economic significance.
Bongilcheon Market, traditionally held every five days, has played a vital role as a local
market. However, with the rapid development of large residential complexes and
urbanization, the market has been in decline. Through Collection Busking, we aim to
connect traditional market merchants with newly settled city residents, preserving the
market’s rich history and traditions while reviving the local circular economy.
This is a first step towards meeting the inner ring of the Doughnut’s social standards
and building a more sustainable and connected community.
