At Conexus.Earth, we're excited to host an event for the very first Global Doughnut Day - right here on the Gold Coast!

We invite you to join us and embrace a fresh mindset and new way of thinking. This meetup is your opportunity to explore the innovative concept of doughnut economics.

The doughnut vision paints a picture of a world where humanity thrives in the 21st century while respecting the boundaries of our living planet.

Speakers:

Linda Davidson (Bond Post-Graduate student, Project Innovation) will guide the group through an introduction to the concept of Doughnut Economics, and how as innovators we can use this model to reframe problems. We’ll explore the doughnut compass as a tool in practice, and discuss the idea of thriving and regeneration, against endless growth.

Fabrice Cheong (Manager of Energy, Climate, and Circular Economy at Deloitte) will present insights from The Circularity Gap Report 2023, offering a unique perspective on the path to a circular economy.
