Global Donut Days with Transform:GM

Come and join our opening session on Tuesday 20th October at Longsight Library to find out how we can make our local economy more Doughnut-shaped! This introductory drop-in session will be held in a welcoming, accessible location. We’d love to see Community Organisers, Councillors, School teachers and pupils, members of the public and anyone who want to make our places better at this focused event for Children and Young People.

We can relate the Doughnut concept to subjects according to the different Key Stages in the National Curriculum, help you to design fun and interactive educational enrichment activities and inform you about other educational and place-based initiatives at local and national levels which already align with the concept of Doughnut Economics - including School Streets, Play Streets and Next Generation Economics.

Come and meet the Transform:GM team, make a paper-plate Doughnut, have a chat, or just say hello and pick up a flyer!

Check out our website to find out more about our events.

We look forward to seeing you there!

(Please note we are incorporating safe practices into our event during this time of increasing airborne viruses, and will have face masks and hand wipes available)
