🎋 What is Daegeum?
The daegeum is Korea’s representative traditional wind instrument, a large bamboo flute played horizontally.
History: Originating in the Three Kingdoms period, it has a history of about 1,500 years
Structure: Made of bamboo, it has 1 blowing hole (chuigu), 6 finger holes (jigong), and 1 buzzing hole (cheonggong)
Characteristics: A reed membrane attached to the buzzing hole produces a unique vibrating sound that creates the daegeum’s distinctive timbre
Range: With its wide register from low to high notes, it is beloved across various genres from court music to folk music

🎭 Performance Introduction
The Village Daegeum Club has prepared a small gift for our neighbors in celebration of Global Donut Days!
This performance is a short moment of sharing ahead of our first official concert at Neutinamu Library in November. Through the beautiful melodies of the daegeum, we hope to pause, breathe together, and share the warm heart of our community.

Though it lasts only 15 minutes, let’s create special memories unique to our neighborhood through the deep and warm tones of the daegeum, enjoyed together with our neighbors both offline and online.

🎋 대금이란?
대금은 한국의 대표적인 전통 관악기로, 대나무로 만든 가로로 부는 피리입니다.

역사: 삼국시대부터 전해 내려온 악기로 약 1,500년의 긴 역사를 가지고 있습니다
구조: 대나무 몸통에 취구(입으로 부는 구멍) 1개, 지공(소리구멍) 6개, 청공(떨림막을 붙이는 구멍) 1개가 있습니다
특징: 청공에 붙인 갈대막이 만들어내는 특유의 떨리는 소리가 대금만의 독특한 음색을 선사합니다
음역: 저음부터 고음까지 폭넓은 음역을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있어 궁중음악부터 민속음악까지 다양한 장르에서 사랑받습니다

🎭 공연 소개
마을 대금 동아리가 글로벌도넛데이를 맞아 이웃 여러분께 작은 선물을 준비했습니다!
이번 연주는 11월 느티나무도서관에서 열릴 첫 공연을 앞두고 마련된 작은 나눔의 시간으로, 
대금의 아름다운 선율을 통해 잠시나마 함께 숨 쉬며 마을의 정겨운 마음을 나누는 소중한 순간입니다.
