Picnic in Stockholm – Doughnut Economics & Wellbeing Economy
Welcome to an informal picnic with the Stockholm communities of DEAL (Doughnut Economics Action Lab) and WEAll Sweden (Wellbeing Economy Alliance Sweden).
Whether you're deeply involved in these topics or just curious, everyone with an interest is welcome to join.
We'll meet up to exchange ideas on how we can create an economy in Sweden that provides wellbeing for all within the planetary boundaries — or just enjoy each other’s company and talk about whatever we find inspiring right now.
Where:
Rålambshovsparken – near a large tree, not far from Boule Bar.
We’ll put up a few paper signs with DEAL and WEAll Sweden so you can find us.
When:
Monday, 9 June, from 17:30 onwards – drop in whenever you can.
What to bring:
A blanket or something to sit on, plus something to eat or drink.
It's an opportunity to meet others interested in these ideas, share some thoughts, and spend a (hopefully) nice summer evening together in the park.
If it is raining that day, we'll try to arrange an indoor location instead.

Associate professor in immunology trying to fid out how I best can contribute to solving the worlds most pressing issues and current challenges. As a biologist I am very concerned about the climate changes and decreased biodiversity, but also believe that human intelligence have the potential to correct the current trajectory - if our collective mindset wants to. Energy and time need to be included in the models we create to understand the world, which is why I really like the doughnut economics model.
