Exeter Connect and the connection to Doughnut Economics:

Exeter Connect, the City’s VCSE capacity building and connecting service, is excited to announce The Big Exeter Feast conference.

This conference, the first of its kind in Exeter, brings together stakeholders from the VCSE sector and beyond with an interest in food and food systems that work better for our communities, climate and nature.

Registration from 9.30 for 10am start.

A programme of pre-conference activities/workshop/fieldtrips will be available from mid-October. You will receive this information when you sign up to the conference. You will need to sign up separately for these activities as each will have its own Eventbrite link.

The conference includes presentations, displays from the pre-conference programme, panel discussions as well as plenty of networking opportunities around the following themes:

  • Eating Better
  • Food Justice
  • Food Waste
  • Good Food Governance
  • Local Food Economy
  • Urban Growing

A simple lunch will be provided on the day. We look forward to welcoming you on the day.

All members of the public and academia are invited to attend as the outcome of this event would be to gain greater connectivity for the local food community.
