The Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network Ireland is a faith-based international network present in Africa and in Europe, established in 1988. AEFJN promotes economic justice between the European Union and sub-Saharan Africa. AEFJN Ireland an Antenna (National Branch) that builds on the collaboration of 9 Catholic congregations, including the Dominican Sisters Cabra.
Since the onset of Donald Trump's presidency, U.S. foreign aid to Africa and indeed EU Foreign Aid has experienced substantial reductions, leading to significant consequences for humanitarian efforts across the continent of Africa. Many of our Congregations are living this reality and we want to share with you some insights, concerns and more with regard to this recent and sudden development.
