I'm the Business & Enterprise Lead at DEAL, leading our work to inspire and equip businesses to be redistributive and regenerative.
My career has focussed on responsible business, with 25 years of practical experience connecting ambition with design-to-action from organisational governance to supply chains. I've worked to define and implement activity benefitting people, other animals, and the planet we rely on. Often that's been by seeking to transform often invisible issues and structures.
My leadership roles have included Human Rights Director at Natura &Co and Responsible Procurement Head at The Body Shop, driving impact across mainstream and fair trade operations and supply chains. I've also worked at the Ethical Trading Initiative and Anti-Slavery International.
I chair the UK-based Food Network for Ethical Trade (FNET), and I'm a Circular Economy Institute member and a Deep Time Walk guide. In 2023 I studied Regenerative Economics at Schumacher College. My working approach is rooted in my commitment to family, community, feminism and listening skills and typically accompanied by poems, care, and cake.
