Doughnut Economics About DEAL News & Updates Meet the DEAL Team Careers FAQ Wider Movement Contact UsI've been introducing myself as a “recovering futurist” for three main reasons: 1) I used to be a futurist, now I'm a present momentist; 2) given that scenariology is so easy to learn, it seems to me essential that we all become futurists now; and 3) I seem to be on a mission to recover our future from utter dystopia.
Also: former tech pioneer, sometime poet/lyricist, essayist, blockchainer/accidental economist, singer, digital nomad, global citizen. Intrepid researcher and unabashed geek; my wonderment muscles remain quite strong. Regular meditator, deep-dive inner worker, vegetarian foodie. Friends regularly chide (and later thank) me for upending their worldviews; my favourite game is questioning assumptions, especially those pesky other-than-conscious ones.
Dedicated to the heart-opening of humanity, the healing of collective trauma, and the unfolding of our latent human potential for magnificent, life-affirming creativity. Let’s leave this planet blessed for our presence here.
