Ellen Sjong is a trained associate professor with a master's degree in pedagogy, educational management. She has worked at all levels of the school from kindergarten to high school and taught systemic thinking and Appreciative Inquiry at the college level. She is politically active in the Greens in Norway and has established the forerunner of what she hopes will be the National Network for Doughnut Economics in the MDGs. She runs study circles in Doughnut Economics based on the book Doughnut Economics (by Kate Raworth) and is now working on the first "Doughnut Festival" in Norway. She is particularly interested in how we must learn to think and act systemically.
