I am from Colombia. I moved to Canada 13 years ago with my family (my husband, our two boys, and our dog). Since I was little, I was always worried about the inequalities that I was witnessing every day and the damage that we were causing to our environment. I studied anthropology, became interested in tourism, and began to study it from a sociocultural perspective. Since then, my interest in tourism, seen as an agent of transformation, captured my attention and I immersed myself in the study and practice of sustainable and regenerative tourism.

I am a student in Economics and Data Analysis and have a Bchelor in Ecological and Environmental Sciences. I am very interested in topics at the intersection between these subjects. I have read Doughnut Economics and was inspired by the innovative and 'simple' view provided. I would love to contribute to making this change happen.

My work engages with the precarity of enterprise alternatives and diverse economies, seeking fair futures through co-creative processes in the cultural sector, community governance and tourism on a community's own terms in the South Pacific, the Caribbean, North America, UK and Europe.

I am a bridge builder. I connect people, organizations, systems and perspectives with each other. I contribute to the realization of ideas that create a world that our hearts already know is possible. I believe that doughnut economics is a smart and concrete compass for the change needed in the 21st century.

I`m a circular entrepreneur keen on rethinking the design of an organization to make it fit for the 21st century. I believe the doughnut is a smart and comprehensive economic compass to navigate our way through the challenges of the 21st century. I try to contribute to the concept with theoretical and practical work.

I am a Social Enterpriser pushing back strongly on the idea that greed is the only motivating force for human achievment. We need an economy dedicated to the production of 'enough' rather than 'as much as possible'. I want to create an example of a practical solution to the production of useful, beautiful and cherished products where each unit produced creates a measureable positive effect on combatting climate-change, boosting biodiversity and mending mental health. I was born at the begining of the oil boom and began my working career as the climate-change danger was identified. My generation has a responsibility here.

Passionate cyclist, journalist-turned-activist ever since 9/11, Social entrepreneur and NGO co-founder. Through my working life, I came to the understanding that it's high time to deconstruct this monolith called "economics" and Kate/Donut, Silke Helfrich/Commons, ecogood.org and others are doing a great job. Let's create economies incorporating C2C, social justice and an inclusive understanding of nature - following the understanding that in the "anthropocene" it is on us to carry the responsibility for mother earth.
