I am a secondary school teacher (Geography Ages 11+ - GCSE, Politics A-level) holding a BA International Politics. I'd like to incorporate doughnut economics into my curriculum and ensure students have a clear picture of economic systems and their impact before they leave school. Want to help stimulate a move towards a circular, inclusive economy, and do my part to help our society respond to a clear climate crisis in the 21st Century. Keen to collaborate with other educators.

Interested in all aspects of improving deliberative democracy and helping governments make better decisions with the benefit of technology and a meaningful understanding of community views. I run a consultancy called H2onestly, am involved in a startup called Seekgeeks of the Zeitgeist, and in my spare time am doing a PhD with Alexey Voinov's PERSWADE group at University of Technology Sydney. I recently completed five years as Mining Manager with WaterNSW, where my role was to analyse evidence of impacts from mining beneath Sydney's drinking water supplies, and to advocate for their reduction. I have a long background in water environment as a regulator and consultant, working in all aspects of water science, particularly in groundwater pollution, mining impact and resource assessment. Specialties: Regulatory innovation, sustainability, groundwater, mine impact assessment, resource protection, water pollution and remediation, land contamination, decentralised sewage management

I have long been disturbed by the fixation of economists and politicians of measuring everything by money-- an ever-more imaginary substance which you can't eat, drink, or breathe-- so when I read Doughnut Economics, it felt right, exciting, and hopeful. I volunteer with the San Francisco Climate Emergency Coalition and other local group; I work as a Pilates/movement teacher; and I love to dance.
