I work in the coffee industry and sit on the committee of the Specialty Coffee Association national chapter, SCA Ireland, as Sustainability Coordinator, a new committee role that was created in June this year. The purpose of this role is to examine the space where there is opportunity to insert sustainable practices in the many business types that our community operate, and also in our chapter activities and events. I am more keen than qualified, and really value being part of this group!!

Moreover, now that we transfer the sources of our energy- and heating systems, I would like to stimulate citizen participation, ownership and control on our own systems.
