Reading Kate Raworths vision on humanity, economy and ecology is a source of energy and positivity for me. Recently I made a shift from commercial jobs, which I have always done, to a more public-serving, nature-related job. The doughnut philosophy and Kate Raworth are great sources of inspiration, as are Rutger Bregman, Jason Hickel, and many more...

Read about Kates ideas when I volunteered for Oxfam in the Netherlands, before the book was published. Tried to followed it ever since. Intertembo, the label of my commercial business (I'm self-employed and hired some support for a few hours a week) is founded in 2010. In 2018, I decided to shift the foundation of what I do to the teachings of doughnut economics. On one side, I focused on spreading knowledge about DE, make it better known in our region. On the other side, I start to support entrepreneurs, mostly start-ups and smaller businesses with those ideas in mind. Sinds 2023, most of the profits of Intertembo go to the foundation Stichting De Goede Donut, to support their events and non-profit-organisations.

I spent 20 years working in the large corporate environment before turning my focus to the social enterprise and impact sector. I've built a career around designing and implementing growth strategies and enterprise development that enable businesses to get to the next level. As someone who has has worked in a growth-at-all-costs environment and who now works to create a thriving community, my goal is to generate change in the property industry. This industry is the single largest contributor to political parties in Australia, and my aim is to create system level change through market influence and policy change, by demonstrating the mutual value that an equitable built environment can generate for the economy, the environment and for society.

I work as a local councillor for the Green Party in Kristiansand, southern Norway. Currently writing a book about the repair business. This sector of the economy create jobs and minimizes the use of the earth's resources. How can we create a system where reuse and repair is the norm?

I am director of a small UK Chocolate company - Lick the Spoon Chocolates. We put sustainability at the heart of business and have based it around the UN Sustainable Development goals for 2030. Since 2013 we have tried to not grow our business but evolve it such that every part of our supply chain and the chocolates we produce are sustainable. We source our chocolate under a scheme named Raisetrade that keeps more of the value in the country of origin by producing a finished product in both Madagascar and Colombia. Our packaging is plastic free and 75% produced locally in Wiltshire. All of our heating and cooling is through heat pumps and we use 100% renewable electricity. But of course it's not perfect and we're constantly working to try and improve. Since the IPCC 1.5 degree report was published in 2018 i've redoubled my efforts both in activism, particularly lobbying both town and county councils as well as our MP. I've also worked on our neighbourhood plan economy group
