I am a creative strategist, advising and inspiring companies, organisations, agencies and brave individuals. I help them with their complex and complicated (creative) challenges in innovation, (social) design and communication. To do that, I continuously tap into my extensive network to assemble or to be part of a team with the requisite variety and depth to frame and solve a specific challenge. I curate realities, mix it with my knowledge acquired through following my curiosity, to build a better understanding. I use language and design as a tool for that.

I am also a huge Doughnut fan and organise introduction workshops and Doughnut Action Labs, to raise awareness and make it more pratical and usable for people, communities and organisations

I am teaching at various Universities here in Austria and a radio host at a local public radio station. My activities are very much centered on promoting the circular economy through local activism. Although the pandemic has derailed such plans for the foreseeable future, my goal is to establish a big-tent organization to foster cooperation among the various circular economy initiatives in Vienna - circular.wien

After 27 years with the Attorney General’s Ministry as a Correctional Officer, Peace Officer, Probation Officer and Family Justice Counsellor, Lia moved with her family to Nevada in 2004 to continue to work in family mediation and later as a teacher and in security work. She returned to Vancouver Island in 2013.
