I’m in my 20s and worried about my species past and future on this beautiful planet. Trying to find ways to contribute to the new world we will have to live in. I love to write, garden, cook, make art and be active. I recognize that what I currently have in my life is enough, more than enough, and I like spreading that sentiment.

I founded Citizen Kind in 2018, born out of frustration with the way that business as usual (BAU) was destroying the planet and ruining the lives of humans and animals. I pledged then to use my skills and experiences as a business leader and talent expert to advocate for a sustainable transition and create positive impact, and enable others to do the same. I was born in the beautiful Aotearoa New Zealand, where a third of our land is national parks, and our Whanganui River has legal personhood. I’m now excited to be living in the vibrant Amsterdam which is ambitiously striving to be emissions-free and circular. I have worked in various areas of law and human resources in London and New Zealand, am a certified yoga teacher and mediator, and have thrown a small festival in NZ. The past eight months, I have been traveling, attending conferences, workshops, and reflecting on what is important and fulfilling. Some highlights include representing a VU/IUCN story project at COP28, learning about the Inner Development Goals, working on a climate narrative research project with Inner Green Deal, and attending the ADE Green conference on sustainability and social change in the music industry.
