Economist with studies at the Universities of Bucharest, Romania, Münster and Bremen, Germany. Until the end of September 2021, I was Senior Researcher at the Development Policy Department of the SUEDWIND Institute in Germany. My research areas focus on international development cooperation, international trade and finance, the role of the private sector in transformation, global value chains and labor rights, development finance and conflict resolution and management. In the past I have conducted project analysis and evaluation work in German and European development cooperation. I was the German representative to the European non-state development network CONCORD in Brussels. I have teaching experience at the University of Bremen, as well at Univerities in Honduras and actively participates in international conferences on development issues.
