Heard Rob Shorter following af course at https://www.okonomiskolen.dk/. Very inspiring, and in times where action is needed, organizing is essential...DEAL simply sounds interesting. I currently work as an Emergency Physician, but part time involved in establishing some way to grow own food, and finding ways to run a 7ha. piece of land, in a regenerative way. This is currently work-in-progress.

I've learnt about Responsible Business in 2023 and have just started my personal journey to sustainability. I would like to become more involved in bringing knowledge about this to others, while also learning more about it myself.

I am studying economics, sustainability and social design as part of my master's degree. As part of my master's thesis, I am applying the Donught Economy to the planning of a city district. To ensure the attunement of the citizens I also use elements of Future Literacy. In my spare time, I advocate for Degrowth by spreading permaculture micro-gardening in urban spaces for more food sovereignty. In addition, I have been campaigning for a job guarantee in the social-ecological sector at European level for the last 3 years. In this context, I have published a study in cooperation with several NGOs across Europe.

Strategist / Executive Advisor / Speaker My mission is to explode outward the boundaries of what is perceived as achievable for organizations, entrepreneurs, and leaders in such a way that enlivens purpose, drives performance, inspires engagement, and connects to global citizenship. To this end, I work with governments, NGOs, private sector businesses, entrepreneurs, change-making teams, and individual leaders. What I love to do is complex problem-solving, strategic direction and design, operational execution, leadership development, and high stakes crisis resolution. When a city needs to regain control over a public health crisis, when a private sector company needs to reinvent itself against headwinds of innovation and competition, when an entrepreneurial org needs to determine its business and/or financial and/or talent strategy or succession-planning strategy, or when a high-value leader aspires to make a greater impact while finding greater fulfillment and building a legacy, I like receiving the call to serve. My commitment to principles, starting with ethics and integrity, inform all my life’s work. I hold myself to a high standard, and strive to create results and deliver service with excellence. I’m a strategist, advisor, critical thinker, consultant, public speaker, trainer, facilitator, coach, and partner. The labels don’t quite fit snugly, so perhaps an assortment of hashtags might better communicate how I might be able to serve you:

Peter Kruse on Ulrike Reinhard "There are some people whose lives followed the logic of dynamic networks long before the internet appeared on the scene. In my time I’ve met a handful of individuals who were digital natives in a much more radical sense than their date of birth might lead you to suppose. Ulrike Reinhard is one of them. She has the genius to be able to think and act in terms of interaction. In conversation with her, it’s easy to be carried away by her enthusiasm for open processes. Ulrike Reinhard is a catalyst for collective intelligence and network nodes, an enabler who forges direct links that bring people together. She’s a virtuoso across the whole repertoire of modern technologies, but she would still be adding more reality to the We in this world if she had to use smoke signals and pigeon post to do so. Ulrike Reinhard is an impassioned explorer of frontiers with an astonishing faith in her ability to find her way even in new and uncharted territory. She seldom follows a steady straight line but always shows an unflappable sense of direction. Like the path she’s carved through life, Ulrike Reinhard is never boring and always good for a few surprises! "

Caitlyn Socwell
Rotterdam, Netherlands
Born and raised in the heart of Wisconsin, my initial path led me to a career in physiotherapy, and for seven years I dedicated myself to helping individuals regain their physical well-being, but I felt something bigger was calling to me. My passion for sustainability sprouted from the fertile soil of my Wisconsin roots, and as I observed the delicate balance of nature around me, I felt an undeniable calling to protect it. I embarked on a new path - one that would allow me to create a profound impact on a global scale. In pursuit of my newfound passion, I transitioned from the world of physiotherapy to local government, where I learned the intricacies of policy-making and the importance of fostering sustainability practices within communities. As I delved deeper into the world of sustainability, my vision expanded beyond my local surroundings, and I yearned to be at the forefront of the global movement to combat climate change and promote sustainable living. I then embarked on a life-changing journey, relocating to the Netherlands to found The Waste Not Spot, a bridge connecting businesses, not-for-profits and governments to sustainable strategies that transcend borders.

Hi there! I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Psychology of Economic Life at LSE, after completing my Bachelor's in Economics at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) this summer. I am genuinely passionate about advancing the values and ideas of Doughnut Economics, as I am convinced that we need a shift in the mainstream narrative of economic success and individual flourishing for the sake of planetary and individual well-being. Therefore, I am studying this innovative intersection of economics and psychology in my Master's degree to (1) better understand the roots of our unsustainable mainstream economic personality, and (2) discover how the transition to a new mindset can be promoted and established. As for my contribution within this ambitious movement - I am still in a discovery phase. In the past, I have worked both within the private sector (marketing agency), as well as in research (assistant to a Professor in micro- and normative economics). I am highly motivated to find out where I can make the most significant impact. I welcome any advice or contacts. #rethinkingeconomics #normativeeconomics #ethics #socialpsychology #narratives #climatecommunication #education

I am inspired by the model of the Doughnut. I would like to be involved in learning about, exploring, applying this model to just about anything. I am an architect with 20+ years in UK housing design. I am also a Passivhaus designer and am interested in sustainable, regenerative, eco design. I would like to see UK housebuilders move away from their model of maximising profit and instead look though the lens of the Doughnut.

I'm one of the leaders of a non-profit association for shamanic art & culture (hofmondsee.com). We bought a remote property in the mountains of central Portugal, where we have the vision of an ecological, sustainable and healthy community. In my first life I was a software developer. Now I change my profession. I enrolled in a university for a bachelor degree in sustainability management. I hope that I will be able to contribute to a positive transformation of the capitalistic, destructive world. I currently read the book "Doughnut Economics" by Kate Raworth and find it a nice wholistic approach. I'm very happy that this platform "DEAL" exists, to gather all the people of the world to collaborate in making the world more sustainable. So I'm happy to meet new people and find projects to collaborate. I'm just starting my journey ;)

I am a huge advocate of a new, systematic economic change. Consumerism has gone too far and with each IPCC report getting worse and worse, it is paramount to act and design a new social market.
