How do we empower people, businesses, and organizations to create a sustainable world? That question is my focus as a human and communication and development consultant! For me, it's about a shared new understanding of the planet's boundaries and a new way of seeing our existence in the world. We need to create conditions and processes that promote life and well-being for people and the planet. We must understand the circles we are part of and be equipped with the knowledge and tools that enable us to think innovatively and envision the green common future we can all co-create. But it is also an understanding that we are all part of a larger story – our past influences our present, and the decisions we make shape our future. My approach is an ecosystemic perspective on ESG, Doughnut Economics, and sustainable development. I work independently and in collaboration with others who are passionate about creating a sustainable and viable world within the planet's boundaries. I spent 15 years in fostering local #economic development and designing major public infrastructure. I worked as Deputy Managing Director for Economy, Innovation, Employment and Int'l at Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis and used to run Sophia Antipolis Technopolis. I also gained international experience as project director in one of the major French concession and construction company. After realising economic development is a complex issue, in which we need to reconcile economic growth, planetary boundaries and social thresholds, I decided to focus on raising collective awareness about this issue, using the Donut Economic Model, which I find particularly clear and enlightning. I also decided to make a radical turn in my carreer and undertook the transformation of the family farm into an organic farm. I currently pursue my efforts to developping biodiversity within the family farm and help organisations shift their focus from economic development to Donut Economics! I currently work as an Emergency Physician, but part time involved in establishing some way to grow own food, and finding ways to run a 7ha. piece of land, in a regenerative way. This is currently work-in-progress.
