I work for the Methodist Church as a children, youth and family worker and a local pastor. I also co-ordinate the York Methodist Group Eco Task Force where we share ideas and encourage each other to become sustainable communities. I was an accountant in a former life and have a degree in Economics. Growing up at the time of the 'ozone layer crisis' and the start of the increased public awareness of climate change, I was fascinated by 'externalities' and how our current system was failing our natural world. Studying Economics left me with more questions than answers. In the last few years, my role as pastor has left me frustrated as I have helped 'pull people out of the river' so I started following the trail of breadcrumbs upstream to see why people fall into the river in the first place. The need for constant growth does have a trickle down effect, but not in wealth - in pressure and stress - to perform and deliver at any cost. It has left us all exhausted, poorer and unhappier than ever. There has to be a better way. Kate Raworth's book was a lightbulb moment.

I'm a civil engineer and for over 12 years i've been working on environmental services (water and waste management) and i've always struggle with the way traditional economy considers these basic and primary services. I've recently started working on a start up dedicated to monitoring carbon emissions and i do not want to follow the same path. I believe that now is the time to re-adapt our way of thinking.

I help people see, recognize and create value. When I discovered the paradigm of sustainable development, I saw it as a viable alternative to our current capital markets mindset as taught in university economic departments. Ever since I have enjoyed expressing my gifts across a range of themes: * personal development psychology * sustainable wealth management * regenerative economic development * green economy * business innovation This has made me a student of the history of the philosophy of finance. Now my focus is to integrate best practices for a regenerative economy, from ideas into collective action. To create an economy of mutual blessings. I serve a range of clients who are investors, leaders and projects which create better thinking, tools and systems for humanity. I am most intrigued by people and projects to evolve financial markets, social equity and economic systems to create shared prosperity and thriving for all people and all life. And groups who recognize the context of life on this planet who see we are not part of the world, yet see the World as all the parts of us. Since my college days my roles and relationships have expanded with a growing circle of friends and clients who express their vision for a better world. My intensely curious mind led me to study various schools of thought from economics to computer science, biology to meditation and wisdom traditions, and a deep curiosity about existential philosophies of the nature of consciousness. Then I built my expertise while working with several large and small investment banks, financial institutions and think tanks. I am beyond grateful to the women and men who are my mentors, whose insights and gifts inspire me every day. Today I and my circle of friends weave across the world to serve and evolve humanity through a range of circles, groups, think tanks, investment networks, families, social enterprises, indigenous, regenerative agriculture, social innovation, feminine leadership , etc , through our activities toward implementing the most advanced practices to achieve the sustainable development goals. Please reach out to connect anytime you feel I can add value to your efforts. Being a Southern California native, I have celebrated living in Santa Monica since I moved here in 1983. I love creating art, savoring rare aged teas, cooking for loved ones, long walks, ocean swimming, esoteric philosophy, meditation, yoga, surfing and photography... My aim is to express my passion for personal development and human evolution into every moment with every relationship.

While most of my day job is evaluating software vendors' customer engagement platforms (CRM & CX), and writing about them, which provides me a modest income. One of the vendors, Zoho Corporation inspired me with their regenerative capitalist approach to business. https://cxcreate.io/zoho-the-exemplar-of-regenerative-capitalism/ So, I am now embarking on research into the field, and was recommended Kate Raworth's Doughnut Economics book, which in turn has led me to the DEAL Community. I might be considered an old lag by some (67 years old), but for probably the first time in my life I'm on an adventure that I actually feel passionate about - to understand regenerative capitalism, and eventually to add my voice to the growing throng, and in a small way, play my part.

Well-educated European citizen, I do not accept the "business as usual" any longer knowing all solutions are at hand. I feel more and more eco-anxious, and therefore believe it's about time to play a pivotal role now.

I have two Master's degrees : one in engineering (Centrale Lyon - France) and another in philosophy and history of sciences and technology. With this interdisciplinary approach, I've participated to several transition-linked research projects the last 5 years. Now, I'm eager to help companies adopt regenerative and distributive models. For that, nothing better than to join this community, in order to contribute and receive and to go further together.

I am a frustrated person from the situation, currently feeling useless, yet looking for ways to get involved with the cause and make the change. Currently doing a PhD in ecology and evolution of tree species. In an ideal world, I would love to be a wacko scientist, working on totally abstract and theoretical questions. In the world we live in, thrilled to join the community of people wanting for the same change I do, and in turn, work extra hard to help turn the wheal to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
