I started out as a commodities trader at the Chicago Board of Trade in Chicago after graduating with a degree in Economics. Have been in Banking through 5 decades of Banking Crisis's of one kind or another.  I learn and grow ad am excited about the Doughnut Theory and Renegade Economics. I work at the Olof Palme International Center, the Swedish labour movement's international solidarity organisation. My main focus is a Just Transition and workers' rights, and I see doughnut economy as a powerful way to steer towards these goals. I'm very interested in hearing about and creating more opportunities for trade unions and the wider labour movement to discuss how to align their struggle for a better life for workers with what the planetary crisis demands of us. How do we distribute resources so that everyone can achieve wellbeing and human rights - live within the donut?  relief etc.

I have detailed working knowledge of environmental regulation across UK nations and across both terrestrial and marine spaces. My research explores spatial justice, environmental law and public participation in environmental decision making. My research experience has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the importance of lawscapes for contextualising spatial decisions. My research focuses on coastal and marine regulation. I am increasingly moving into the post-growth space, specifically looking at spatial regulation and how to incentivise resilient development in non-monetary ways.
