Do you want to help create a world in which people and planet thrive in balance?
Are you ready to lead DEAL’s operations to turn the ideas of Doughnut Economics into transformative practice?
If yes, we’d love to hear from you!
Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL) is an organisation working with innovative cities, community groups, businesses and teachers worldwide to co-create and spread brilliant tools and resources that turn the ideas of Doughnut Economics into action.
We are seeking for an exceptional Operations Lead to - alongside the team - design and implement the systems, processes and practices that enable our team to thrive, and for DEAL to deliver its ambitious strategy for transformative change.
We would also love for our new Operations Lead to take us through the exploration of an exciting design challenge: “How might a growing, regenerative and distributive 21st century organisation operate?”
This is a remote-working role, based in the UK, supporting a team based internationally. Depending on Covid-19 restrictions and safety, there may be quarterly or bi annual travel to a UK location for team meetings.
We acknowledge that many social groups and identities are under-represented in our team and we’re committed to changing this. We are particularly keen to receive applications from people of colour, people with disabilities, people who identify as being LGBTQIA+ , and people from other historically marginalised groups.
This is a remote-working role, based in the UK. It can be 28 or 35 hours per week and we are also open to exploring job shares.
Applications for this role are now closed - thank you for your interest!
I’m based outside the UK, would I be eligible for sponsorship for this role?
This role requires candidates to be UK-based. We would love to be able to help, but unfortunately we are a very small team with limited capacity and we're not in a position to sponsor international applicants at this time.
Later this year we will be recruiting for additional roles which we're hoping to be able to open up to candidates based outside the UK. Stay connected via our newsletter and website for further announcements in the coming months.
When do I need to apply by?
Applications must be received by 12pm noon (UK time) on Saturday, 24th September, 2022. (NB we will not be able to accept late applications).
Get inspired, connect with others and become part of the movement. No matter how big or small your contribution is, you’re welcome to join!
