The Exeter Doughnut brings together people from across the community, academia, business and local government to see how we can implement Doughnut Economics ideas. This means creating a city where everyone thrives and where climate and ecological action are part of everyday decision making.
We first started sharing ideas at a workshop in May 2023 and then set up a steering group to look at creating a snapshot of where we are, plans for wider engagement and funding to keep the group going. This initial phase was made possible through the support of the Green Futures Network at the University of Exeter.
