Global Doughnut Days: A Just Future

As the second part of a day themed around the future, we were focusing on the social aspects of sustainability. Since the mid-20th century, we have seen tremendous progress in human well-being and technological achievement—but this has come at the cost of rising inequality and an increasingly evident climate and environmental crisis. How must our economy evolve to create a fairer world, and what does global inequality look like today? What opportunities exist for change? This event is organized in collaboration with the Stockholm Doughnut Economics network, as part of the annual Global Doughnut Days.
