Hi, I'm a high school physics teacher teaching about climate change, and more importantly, what we can do about it (and ideally, getting students involved, empowered, sparking changes in their community!). My physics background has led me to develop a personal interest in making our buildings healthier and low carbon . In my years reading and learning and acting on climate, I've found that so many issues are systemic, and interrelated (whether it's housing, criminal justice, voting, or education). I've learned about a lot of ideas that have been useful (systems thinking from the Multisolving Institute, engineering design process and Minimum Viable Products from the Lean Startup, civic power from Eric Liu) and doughnut economics seems to tie a lot of great ideas together elegantly and concisely. It's biggest shortcoming to my mind is that it's not a recipe for action, but that's where this action lab and community fit in I suppose. Here's to turning great ideas into action.

I spent 10 years of my professional career working in extractive linear industries and 3 years working in public policy advocacy and corporate accountability. I am on a quest to build on the knowledge of what I know to build capabilities with and within organizations so that they are more aligned to be in service of the well-being and well-bcoming of life and humanities.
