I'm a 50-something doughtnut (economics) lover with a passion for our planet and deep-seated exasperation with the slow speed of change in my country and globally.
It's blindingly obvious to me that in everything we do, we have to start with the earth first.
I'm reading Kate's book right now, and wondering what I can do to move these ideas forward. My MP appears to be about as useful as a chocolate teapot. I'm interested in perhaps trying to apply doughnut economics in a local way to start with.
