As Co-founder at QUBIZ.team—a Certified B Corporation™ pioneering quantum sensing and metrology—I align cutting-edge deep tech with planetary boundaries and social foundation needs. With an Executive MBA (IE Business School) and 30 years bridging technological innovation and market execution, my focus shifted a decade ago from traditional corporate leadership in Telecommunications to purpose-driven, impact-led ventures. My journey is rooted in the belief that advanced science must serve systemic regeneration. At QUBIZ.team, we harness quantum metrology to tackle critical environmental tipping points. Our first breakthrough addresses chemical pollution by enabling real-time detection of PFAS ('forever chemicals') in water—protecting ecosystems and public health. My work in ecosystem building—as Founding Curator of the Global Shapers Bilbao Hub (WEF), former Board Member of the Spanish Water Technology R&D Network (PTEA), active member of the Quantum Sensing Expert Group at the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC), and co-promoter of the Spanish Quantum Alliance (SQuA)—directly shapes our regenerative mission. Guided by Buckminster Fuller’s vision to "build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete," I am committed to advancing Deep Tech for Good where economic viability and planetary well-being are measured as a single metric.

After 20 years as a senior programme manager at PwC, most recently leading PwC's Social Value Transformation, and in the context of a Climate and Nature Crisis that is unfurling right now, I want to help build a regenerative world. A world where human connection and experiences are valued more than consumption and materialism, and where our species can live in a regenerative way with nature and the environment. I see Donut Economics as a fundamental part of how we do this as a species.

I'm interested in Regenerative Design which led me to read the Doughnut Economics book several years ago. I have a background in Industrial Design and Human-Centred Design and am interested in how Design Thinking could combine with the principles of Doughnut Economics to create change.
