Overview and background
Join the Municipality of Tomelilla (Sweden) and Doughnut Economics Action Lab for an online presentation and discussion.
Tomelilla is one of the more experienced local governments, having started their work with Doughnut Economics in 2021. Since then, they have introduced an annual municipal Doughnut Data Portrait, they've used Doughnut Economics as a tool for dialogue with the administration and with citizens, they've been working on designing new decision-making processes, and they're in the process of planning and building the first elementary school based on Doughnut Economics principles. They also hosted the second in-person DEAL Cities&Regions gathering for local governments working with Doughnut Economics in 2025.
In the webinar we'll hear in-depth about their experience and insights from their work with Doughnut Economics over the past 5 years.
